Classes are on-going. New students - experienced and beginners - are welcome to begin training at any time of the month.
For the first few classes, students should wear pants that allow for a full range of motion (no shorts) and a comfortable white top. The Axé Capoeira uniform is mandatory for students who have trained for more than 1 month. New students are expected to purchase a complete uniform, which consists of abada (white Capoeira pants), a top, and a raw-colored beginner's cord.

Intro to Capoeira Series (for Absolute Beginners)
Would you like an introduction to capoeira before jumping into our open-level classes? In this 8-week introductory class series, we emphasize developing the skills needed for mastering the fundamental movements of Capoeira. Students are also encouraged to begin learning more advanced kicks, acrobatics, and to play accompanying instruments. Class sizes are kept small and most students are absolute beginners.
