Salve! Welcome to Grupo Axé Capoeira in Seattle Washington. We are the Seattle branch of the world recognized Grupo Axé Capoeira under the supervision of Mestre Barrão. Our school offers classes in Capoeira: a Brazilian art form which emphasizes strength, balance, coordination, and self-defense. Our training also includes acrobatics, music, traditional dance and Portuguese language. We welcome everyone. Introductory and Open-Level Classes Open for Enrollment: Open level classes meet 4 days/week in Capitol Hill. Classes for beginners are held once/week in Capitol Hill and the University District.
